Audience: Retailers and Suppliers
Scorecard metrics give retailers and suppliers access to valuable historical fulfillment data across your trading partners. The following fulfillment metrics may be available for you and your partners:
- Fill Rate
- Shipped on Time
Note: Some retailers may have their own compliance programs that are not directly tied to this data. Work with your retailer to understand their specific expectations.
For more information about how performance metrics are calculated, see Getting started with performance monitoring in Dsco.
Here are some common ways to use the metrics for your business.
Metric | Description | Who can use this metric? | What are some common ways to use this metric? |
---|---|---|---|
Fill Rate |
Adjusted Fill Rate differs from the gross fill rate by only including cancellations that are related to an inventory shortage. Lines that are cancelled for non inventory-shortage-related reasons (for example, a retailer-requested cancel or order data issues) are excluded, while cancellations that occurred due to an inventory shortage (for example, out of stock, discontinued items) are included. This metric offers additional insight into the subset of fulfillment performance that is more directly related to inventory control. |

Shipped on Time |
Shipped on Time is the percentage of order lines where the supplier’s reported ship date was on or before the retailer’s ship due date relative to all order lines that were closed with at least one ship action during the selected interval. If multiple ship actions are submitted for a given line, the latest ship date reported by the supplier is used to calculate this metric. If any quantity on a closed line was cancelled, the calculation considers the entire line on time if all shipped quantities were sent on or before the retailer’s ship due date. The severity of the lateness of a line is measured in business days, calculated using the retailer’s specified business day calendar. Note: Lines with cancellation requests will not be included in the Shipped on Time calculation. To view order details about any late lines, click the PO link. |
