Audience: Retailers
Scheduling trading partner actions can be extremely useful for retailers. It allows you to plan for the future and efficiently start or pause trading with one, a few, or many suppliers all at once. The platform provides options for you to:
- Schedule or update actions right in the web application.
- Upload a spreadsheet to schedule or update actions in bulk.
You can only schedule and update scheduled actions for suppliers who have an Active or Paused connection.

Step 3: In the Schedule Action window, click the calendar icon to adjust the Date of when the action should start and/or enter or adjust the Reason for the action. Click Schedule.

Scheduling and updating actions in bulk
To schedule and/or update actions in bulk, you’ll need to download the template, enter and/or update the actions, and then upload the file to the platform.
Here are some guidelines on how to format the template:
- The template and upload process are case-sensitive. For example, if you type “Play” or “Pause” instead of “play” or “pause,” the upload process will fail.
- You are required to provide the following fields:
- dsco_account_id or dsco_trading_partner_id
- scheduled_action_date. Dates must use the YYYY-MM-DD format. If you are using today’s date, the scheduled action will be completed at the top of the hour.
