Dsco is engaged in a complete rewrite of its public APIs with the following goals:

  • Decrease average API call latency
  • Support batch processing for inventory and catalog information
  • Provide a stream processing endpoint for all data types (order, inventory, etc.)
  • Improve error messaging
  • Maintain backward compatibility wherever possible

The existing version 2 API is hosted on https://apis.dsco.io.  The new API will be hosted on https://api.dsco.io.

Dsco will release new APIs one at a time until the entire version 3 API set is complete, at which point version 2 will be deprecated and at some point in the future removed.  New major API features, most notably batch inventory and catalog update, will only be supported in the new version.  Dsco encourages customers to adopt new version 3 APIs as they come online.  Stay tuned.
