Do you need to add tracking to a whole bunch of orders quickly? Do you want to do that without putting together a huge spreadsheet? If you answered yes to both of those question, then you're in luck. Dsco has now added a new Simple Ship feature to the portal that allows suppliers to quickly and easily add tracking to a list of orders. The only required input is a tracking number and Dsco will mark the order as shipped. Check out the instructions below to get started.
Go here for information on the traditional method of shipping an order in Dsco.
Instead of reading this documentation article, if you'd prefer to see a walkthrough of this feature directly in the Dsco portal then click this link: Simple Ship
Step 1: Click the Navigation icon and select WORKFLOWS. Next, click ORDERS and select SIMPLE SHIP.

Step 2: To start shipping, you can either work your way down the page, adding in ship methods, tracking numbers, and dates as you go, or search for the order using the search bar and date range filters.
Step 4: Once you've located the order, start by selecting the quantities that were shipped. Next, set the shipping method, tracking number, and ship date:
- The default shipping method will be what was originally requested on the order.
- The date will be today's date.
Click the green Save button to update the order with your changes.
Step 5: Once you update the order with your changes, you'll see two entries appear on the page:
- A card just to the right of the order details. The card shows the update that was made to the order.
- An entry in the Results: table on the right side of the page, showing that the update was successful. If your update was rejected then an entry in the Results: table will give details on that rejection.
Step 6: Make sure that all items on the order are shipped. If you need to continue shipping items on the order, adjust the quantities and add new shipping method, tracking number, and date information to the order. More cards will appear to the right of the order as new information is added.
That's it! You can use this Simple Ship feature to quickly add tracking and ship a long list of orders directly in the portal.
And now that you've shipped your orders, you're ready to add your invoices. Check out this link for more information on adding invoices to shipped orders.
