Processing Speed Level-Up! Performance is always a critical factor when exchanging data with your trading partners, and Dsco is constantly making improvements to ensure data is flowing fast and efficiently. In the latest iteration, Dsco has upgraded its parallelization technology to allow for more throughput across an endless number of micro-services. This has led to huge gains in processing speeds, allowing most 100k+ line files to be completed in just minutes.

Line Item Integrity Enforcement: Beginning October 3rd, retailers have the ability to enforce line item integrity. This new feature requires suppliers to return the exact same line numbers on shipment and invoice files that are given by retailers on an order. For example, if a supplier receives an order with three line items with line numbers 1, 4, and 7, then the supplier must return those exact same numbers back into Dsco. If the supplier does not do so, their file import will fail.

If the order received does not include a line item number, and you return a file with a line item number, your files will not fail. Additionally, if the order received does not include a line item number, and you return a file without a line item number (a null value), your files will not fail.

If this feature is not enabled by your retailer this will not affect you.
