WHO THIS AFFECTS: Any connection to Dsco currently using an API Integration and connecting to the https://api.dsco.io endpoint.

Starting on June 25th, 2018, Dsco will begin migrating accounts currently connecting to the https://api.dsco.io endpoint to a new endpoint, https://apis.dsco.io. Accounts will have until September 30th, 2018 to migrate to the new endpoint.

Improvements For You

Using https://apis.dsco.io will offer two primary improvements for all Dsco accounts:

1. Scalability: During times of increased load, the new endpoint will allow Dsco to automatically scale new API servers to make sure that all client requests are handled as soon as they're received.

2. Security: As noted below, TLS 1.2 is required when using https://apis.dsco.io. TLS 1.2 offers increased security over TLS 1.0 and 1.1, ensuring that your API calls are at the lowest possible risk of attack.

Changes Required

  • New endpoint URL: https://apis.dsco.io
  • Endpoint IP Addresses to Whitelist: and
  • Support TLS 1.2

Accounts with an API connection will only be required to change their current endpoint of https://api.dsco.io to the new endpoint of https://apis.dsco.io. Note, https://apis.dsco.io will also enforce TLS 1.2 encryption on all API calls. Calls made using TLS 1.0 or 1.1 will fail when using the new API endpoint and you will be required to support TLS 1.2. If you are unable to support TLS 1.2 at this time then please reach out to the Dsco support team (support@dsco.io).
