Note: The Promotions feature is not currently being used by Absolute Snow. To notify Absolute Snow about items with discount pricing, use the Listing Price field in your inventory feed to pass the latest price you wish that item to be sold for on the Absolute Snow website.

Using advanced catalog services to set up your products
You are required to use advanced catalog services to add all rich item data, including images, for any items you wish to sell on the Absolute Snow website. To learn more about advanced catalog services, go to Advanced Catalog Services for Suppliers.

Required Fields by Workflow
Absolute Snow requires certain fields for inventory, cancel, shipment, and return updates. You will need to ensure that you are sending all the required fields for this program. The document below outlines those required fields by workflow.

Excel Templates for Each Workflow
If you would like a description of the required fields listed in the document above, or if you plan on using Excel files for your feeds, the templates below are available for you to use.
- Absolute Snow - Inventory Upload Template
- Absolute Snow - Cancel Upload Template
- Absolute Snow - Shipment Upload Template
- Absolute Snow - Return Create Upload Template to be used for supplier-initiated returns (such as failed deliveries). The retailer will respond with a Complete Return request.
- Absolute Snow - Return Update Upload Template to be used to respond to retailer-initiated returns.
EDI Documentation
If you are going to exchange EDI documents with Rithum for Absolute Snow, you will use the standard EDI specifications.
Note: In the EDI specifications, there are two versions for the 850 file: 4010 and 5010. For Absolute Snow, we recommend you use the 5010 version for 850 files. All other files (846, 856, 870, 810) will use the 4010 version.
API Documentation
If you are going to exchange transactions via API for any of the message flows supported by Absolute Snow (such as catalog, inventory, consuming orders, shipments, cancels, create returns, updating of returns), you will need to use the V3 API specifications in conjunction with the Required Fields by Workflow document on this page (to outline specifically which attributes are relevant for the Absolute Snow connection).
The V3 API Specifications page also includes information on how you can use APIs for certain Marketplace flows if you do not wish to use the platform's web application for any of these. For example:
- Get Commissions API
- Get Settlement Records API
As the Promotions feature is not yet supported by Absolute Snow, the following APIs should not yet be used for this program:
- Create Promotion API
- Update Promotion API
- Get Promotions API
Any discount pricing should be processed by updating your inventory with your latest Listing Price. The MSRP value (uploaded via Catalog) will also be available for Absolute Snow to use for displaying the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price.
Packing Slips
Absolute Snow uses paperless packing slips and does not require you to generate or print packing slips.
Absolute Snow, will send businessRuleCode = NOPACK on all orders to indicate suppliers DO NOT generate/print any packing slips.
Cancel Code Mapping
The Cancel Codes that are required by Absolute Snow are available from the Dashboard by selecting Settings > Mapping Settings > Cancel Code Mapping. The highlighted rows identify the cancel codes that are required by Absolute Snow on all supplier-initiated cancel transactions.
Return Reason Code Mapping
The Return Codes that are required by Absolute Snow are available from the Dashboard by selecting Settings > Mapping Settings > Return Code Mapping. The highlighted rows identify the return codes that are required by Absolute Snow on all return transactions.
