Insights provides you with quick access to your historical fulfillment and inventory data and can help you:

  • Easily explore performance trends and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Research root causes of fulfillment and inventory issues.
  • Facilitate conversations with your trading partners using a common set of data.
  • Evaluate supplier performance against service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Monitor on-time delivery and carrier utilization performance.
  • See top-selling or low-performing products to make sure assortments stay fresh.
  • Drill down to specific metrics and filter the data by date, supplier, and/or sales divisions according to your needs.

Since you and your trading partners will be able to view the same historical fulfillment and inventory data, you’ll both be able to identify ways to improve performance and influence decisions to drive business growth.

Viewing Insights

Step 1: Click the navigation menu and select Automation & Reporting  > Insights. The Insights page is displayed with the Sales tab open.

Navigating Insights

Here are some basic tips and tricks that can be used across all your Insights metrics and can help you drill down to find the data you need. The available data and filters may vary based on your trading partner connections and configuration.

  • Use the filters at the top of the page to adjust the data. For example, you can filter by date range, supplier, and/or sales division.
  • You can also group line chart data by day, week, or month. Grouping by Week or Month is particularly useful when viewing longer time periods.
  • View the graphs. You can:
    • Hover over info icons to see how a metric is defined.
    • Hover over data points in for more details about specific dates and categories.
    • Drill down to see specific details about a specific date. Click a data point within the graph and select View Underlying Data. In the pop-up, you can adjust the data table as needed.
    • Expose Underlying Data for an entire chart by clicking the three-options menu in the upper-right. In the data pop-up, you can adjust the data table as needed.
    • Export a chart to an .xlsx, .csv, or image file. Click the three-options menu, select the desired output format, and click Download.
  • View the data tables. You can:
    • Customize and rearrange the columns that are displayed. Click the settings icon and then select/de-select column headings or drag and drop the columns into the desired order.
    • Add additional filters to narrow down the data even further. Click the filter icon and use the drop-downs to adjust the existing filter or add more filters.
    • Export the data tables to a .xlsx, .csv , or PDF file. Click the download icon, select the desired output format, and click Download.
    • View additional information about a trading partner’s data. Click View Details when applicable.
    • Sort the data by ascending or descending order. Click the column headings.
