Audience: Suppliers
If your retailer trading partner has enabled the Promotions feature for their Drop-ship or Private Marketplace program, you may edit any promotions that are in a Draft status, whether it’s to change the start and end dates or to adjust the products that are a part of the promotion. You won’t be able to adjust promotions that are active, awaiting review, cancelled, declined, or expired. Be aware that your retailer may choose to review and approve your promotions before they are available to customers.
As a reminder:
- For suppliers participating in a retailer’s Drop-ship program, your promotional discounts must be applied per item (a discount is applied for each item).
- For suppliers participating in a retailer’s Private Marketplace program, your promotional discounts can be applied per item (a discount is applied for each item) or at a bulk discount (the same percentage discount or fixed amount discount is applied for all items in the assortment).
Note: Not every retail trading partner participates in Private Marketplace, which is different from the drop-ship program.
