Audience: Suppliers
As a supplier selling on a Private Marketplace, you are responsible for including pricing for the items you sell. You can add these details via the Inventory Excel template or in the web application.
Note: Not every retail trading partner participates in Private Marketplace, which is different from the drop-ship program.
Uploading and editing pricing via file upload
Use this option if you’re looking to update pricing for multiple SKUs at once.
Step 1: Click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Inventory. The Inventory page is displayed.
Step 2: Click Upload File at the top of the page. The Upload Inventory page is displayed with a list of available file types and downloadable templates.
Step 3: From the Standard Templates section, click the desired Inventory Excel template, choose a file format, and then click Download.
Step 4: Populate the file with your inventory SKU information and include listing_price.
Note: Be sure the data you enter meets the system’s requirements as well as your retailer’s requirements.
Step 5: When finished, save the file.
Step 6: Return to the Inventory page in the platform by clicking the navigation menu and selecting Workflows > Inventory.
Step 7: Click Upload File at the top of the Inventory page. The Upload Inventory page is displayed.
Step 8: Click Choose File and follow the instructions to upload the file from Step 5.
Step 9: Click Inventory to upload the file to the platform.
Step 10: A status message is displayed at the top of the page. Your inventory data should appear in the Inventory page within a couple of minutes.
Uploading and editing pricing via the web application
Use this option if you’re looking to update pricing for a single SKU.
Step 1: Click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Inventory. The Inventory page is displayed.
Step 2: Click the SKU link to see the SKU's details.
Step 3: On the item details page, click Edit Attributes at the top of the page.
Step 4: On the edit attributes page, update the Listing Price field.
Step 5: When finished, click Save.
A status message is displayed at the top of the page. Rithum reviews the updates to the SKU to make sure they meet both the platform’s minimum system requirements and your retailer’s item requirements.
