Audience: Suppliers
Whether you’re managing your items from the Inventory page or your products from the Products page, you can access the item details page and manage your inventory quantities across all your retailers at any time. From the Manage Inventory window on the item details page, you can:
- Allocate/update inventory quantities to each of your retailers.
- Apply the quantity to all your warehouses or specify a quantity for each warehouse for that retailer.
- Remove inventory quantities and warehouses from your retailers.
Note: This is available only to suppliers with connections to multiple retailer trading partners.

Allocating and updating inventory quantities among your retailers
Step 1: Choose one of the following options:
- If you're updating your inventory SKUs, click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Inventory.
- If you're updating your catalog products, click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Products.
Step 2: A list of all your SKUs is displayed on the page. Click the SKU link to see the SKU's details.
Step 3: At the top of the item details page, click Edit Inventory.
Step 4: In the Manage Inventory window, click the Retailer Allocation tab and choose any of the following options:
Allocate inventory quantities and warehouses |
a. Click Allocate Inventory for the desired retailer. b. Enter the available quantity for this retailer. This is a fixed amount. c. Use the drop-down menu to select the warehouse for this quantity. |
Update inventory quantities and warehouses |
a. Adjust the quantity allocated for a previously selected warehouse for the desired retailer. If you need to select a different warehouse for the quantity allocated, you’ll need to click the trash can icon to remove the row (which includes the quantity and warehouse) and then re-allocate the quantities (see steps 4a-4c). |
Step 5: When complete, click Save Changes.
A confirmation status message is displayed at the bottom of the page.
Removing inventory quantities and warehouses from a retailer
Step 1: Choose one of the following options:
- If you're updating your inventory SKUs, click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Inventory.
- If you're updating your catalog products, click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Products.
Step 2: A list of all your SKUs is displayed on the page. Click the SKU link to see the SKU's details.
Step 3: At the top of the item details page, click Edit Inventory.
Step 4: In the Manage Inventory window, click the Retailer Allocation tab and click the X next to the desired retailer to remove the quantity allocated and the warehouse code.
Step 5: In the confirmation window, click Remove.
A confirmation status message is displayed at the bottom of the page.
Step 6: When complete, click Save Changes.
