Audience: Retailers

Once the issue causing the inventory to be placed on hold has been resolved, you can either leave the inventory on hold until the duration time has expired, or you can manually end the hold, as described below.

For example, you placed an item on hold for 72 hours because a supplier cancelled an order with an "out of stock" reason but showed a positive quantity in their inventory. After you reached out to the supplier about the hold, the supplier updated their inventory within 48 hours. You may now remove the inventory hold and set the item back to in stock and available.

Note: If you placed an item on hold and selected Indefinite for the Hold Duration, be aware that the item will stay on hold until you end the hold manually.

Step 1: Click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Inventory. The Inventory page is displayed with a list of all your items.

Step 2: Use the On Hold status filter on the left to filter the list of items based on the hold status, and select the desired items from the results to remove the hold.

Step 3: Click Actions and then End Inventory Hold.

Step 4: In the End Inventory Hold window, click End Hold.

Step 5: A confirmation message is displayed at the bottom of the page. To confirm that the items are no longer on hold, use the On Hold status filter on the left to filter the list of items based on the hold status.
