Audience: Suppliers

You can view issues, errors, and file processing status related to your catalog data via the Notification Center. The Notification Center is designed to:

  • Capture and persist important information about the outcome of a user's actions.
  • Provide a single location for all your catalog-level notifications.

Here’s some additional guidelines about your catalog notifications:

  • Unread notifications will remain indefinitely.
  • Read notifications will remain for 14 days.

Step 1: Click the bell icon at the top of the page to access the Notification Center. A green dot appears on the bell when you have new notifications.

 

Step 2: You may see the following notification types.

 Notification Type  What does it mean? Next steps
 ITEMS UPLOADED Your catalog items uploaded successfully.  
 FAILED VALIDATION Your products did not meet Rithum's minimum system requirements.  Click the notification to download the validation error report. See Viewing your catalog exceptions for more information.
 CATALOG EXCEPTIONS

Your products did not meet your retailer’s advanced catalog services requirements. You’ll receive a digest of your exceptions (not a rolling tally of exceptions) at the following times:

  • 3:00 PM. This will be a digest of exceptions reported between 3:00 AM and 2:59 PM GMT.
  • 3:00 AM. This will be a digest of exceptions reported between 3:00 PM and 2:59 AM GMT.

Click the notification to go to the Catalog Exceptions page and view your products in the Active tab. See Viewing your catalog exceptions for more information.

 UNCATEGORIZED ITEMS Your products are no longer associated with a category in the retailer’s active catalog.  Click the notification to go to the Catalog Exceptions page and view your products in the Inactive tab. See Moving unassociated items to active categories for more information.
PUBLISHED CATALOG
A retailer has made a new catalog available OR revised an existing catalog. Click the notification to go to the Catalog Exceptions page and view your products in the Active tab. See Viewing your catalog exceptions for more information.

 

Step 3: Click anywhere off the Notification Center to close the Notifications drop-down.
