Using basic catalog to set up your products

If you’ve been selected by DTLR Inc. to set up your products using basic catalog, here’s how to get started.

  1. Download the Catalog Upload Template spreadsheet.
  2. Fill out the spreadsheet with your products. For more information, see:
    - Working with images for basic catalog
    - Variant SKUs and product groups
    - Data Schema
  3. Save the file.
  4. Upload the completed spreadsheet to the platform. Click the navigation menu and select Workflows > Inventory.
  5. Click Upload File at the top of the Inventory page. The Upload Inventory page is displayed.
  6. Click Choose File and follow the instructions to upload the file from Step 3.
  7. Click Catalog to upload the file to the platform.

Ship Code Mapping

The Ship Methods that are required by DTLR Inc. are available on the platform by selecting Settings > Mapping Settings > Ship Mapping. The highlighted rows identify the ship method codes that are required by DTLR Inc. on all supplier shipment transactions.

Required Fields by Workflow

DTLR Inc. requires certain fields for inventory, basic catalog, cancel, shipment, and invoice updates. You will need to ensure that you are sending all the required fields for this program. The document below outlines those required fields by workflow.

EDI Documentation

If you are going to exchange EDI documents with Rithum for DTLR Inc., you will use the standard EDI specifications.

Note: In the Dsco EDI specifications, there are two versions for the 850 file: 4010 and 5010. For DTLR Inc., we recommend you use the 5010 version for 850 files. All other files (846, 856, 870, 810) will use the 4010 version.
